Minty Green Organic Tea from Care Tea. . . . .

For those of you who know me – or have read some of my reviews here already – you know I’m a MINT FREAK – so when I saw a single minty fresh green tea yet to be tried in my stash I gladly opened and inhaled the minty greatness!

Organic Green Tea and Organic Mint are the only two ingredients in this cup! The classic case of LESS is MORE. And just because this is in a bag doesn’t mean the flavor isn’t powerful because it was! The tea I’m referring to is Minty Green Organic Tea from Care Tea.

Care Tea describes it as a fresh kiss of peppermint meets a pure crisp green, with the feel of a mountaintop escape in spring. Dramatic. I like it. Descriptive. I crave it. It ended up being delightfully refreshing. It made me crave more.

I don’t know which I enjoyed more…the hot cup taste test or the cold cup taste test. They were equally as good.

Care Tea’s words to live by are…Care for your health, Care for your soul, Care for your world, Perspective in a cup. This tea was uplifting in every way and was a great way to start my day! Ahhhhh!

Hibiscus Red from Care Tea

To be honest, hibiscus tea is not my favorite. I find the tartness a little much at times. But I drink it because it’s so good for you. It’s very high in vitamin c, and it’s very hydrating. I recently moved to Salt Lake City from Seattle, and it’s taking some time getting used to the extreme heat, so hydration is important.

I’ve learned that the only way I can drink hibiscus tea is iced. I just think it tastes best that way. I usually mix it with some green or white tea to help balance it all out, but for the sake of this review I drank it straight.

It’s hibiscus all right. It is tart and tangy, and this blend wasn’t so shockingly red. What can I say, if you like hibiscus tea, you will like this. And, if you’re like me, and drink it more for the amazing health benefits, you won’t hate it. This blend is a bit more balanced than other hibiscus teas I’ve had. The tartness is a bit mellower. All in all it was a refreshing, hydrating iced beverage on a hot, hot day!

Early Grey Organic Tea from Care Tea

Early Grey Organic Tea from Care Tea infuses to a nice, solid, dark brown and smells like a stronger black tea base especially for it being in a bag! The aroma of the Earl Grey scents are not as strong as I have smelled with other teas but it is present.

The taste of this Early Grey Organic Tea from Care Tea is an eye-opener! The black tea base is sturdy and prominent. Then the Earl Grey flavor pops in. There are astringent punches at the end of the sip. The hint of bergamot pops in and out throughout your sipping experience. I can tell that Early Grey Organic Tea from Care Tea is a HIGH Caffeine Tea and today I can certainly use that!

I wanted to dig in a little deeper to this tea company. Why was it named Care Tea? Very simply… From the earth to your cup… We care about your health We care about the community We care about the planet It all leads to purity in every sip. Good taste, good health, good tea. That’s certainly something I can side with! And Early Grey Organic Tea from Care Tea is certainly a bagged tea I can see myself drinking again! It’s a stronger cuppa in a bag that’s perfect for those rushed mornings and while you are on the go!
