Orange Cookies Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea Co.

A few quick questions for you guys:

1. Is there anything more delightful than cookies dunked in tea? I think not.

2. Is there anything more delightful than tea that tastes like cookies-dunked-in-tea? NOPE.

3. Am I boring you with my incessant questioning? Wait. Don’t answer that.

If you could tell from my aforementioned poll-taking, this tea is delightful. Truly. The dry leaf smells like a confection straight from The Great British Baking Show (can you tell what I’ve been Netflix-bingeing lately?), and brewed, it’s even more delightful. This tea reminds me of a citrus chai, but with a warm, buttery-cookie element that really takes it to the next level. Often citrus and spice can be fairly one-note, lacking that depth of flavor that really heightens the tea drinking experience, but not this cuppa.

With a little milk and maple syrup, it’s the perfect level of decadence that levels up a traditional breakfast tea without overdoing it on the saccharine-sweet. I’d pair this one with some orange spiced scones. Or a cinnamon tea cake. Or some orange-glazed shortbread. Mmm. Either way, the dunkability on this tea is unmatched.

Lapacho, Orange Peel, Orange Slices, Vanilla Flavoring are the ingredients in this decaff offering and boy-oh-boy was it a flavorful one! It was citrusy, sweet, creamy, and even had a slight woodsy-spice towards the end of the cup as it cooled. It was reminiscent of a creamiscle with a bit of a twist.

Sir Stuart Black & Green Blend from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee. . . . .

Sir Stuart Black & Green Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee was named after the explorer Sir Stuart Cleary of Cranbrookshire after his trip to the Orient. This tea is lower in caffeine but highly flavored! Sir Stuart Black & Green Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee is a black and green tea blended base with lots of other exciting ingredients mixed in!

Black Tea, Green Tea, Ginger pieces, Fennel, Cardamom seeds, Rose petals and Cornflower blossoms make of the flavor. It’s fruity, spicy, and floral! If you have sipped on an Earl Grey flavored green tea before and enjoyed it this might be one you would like to try. It’s somewhat reminiscent of that but it’s also so much more in terms of taste.

More specifically I was able to smell and taste the rose and fennel individually at a time were the Earl Grey Flavored Green tea was part of a weaker sip. The ginger and cardamom played more of a part with the aftertaste. There are lots of yin and yang flavors here and a lot going on but it all plays well with each other and makes for a colorful sight and tasty flavor on the tongue, too! If you liked black and green teas that are blended together and flavored well you will want to try Sir Stuart Black & Green Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee!

Butter Truffle from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co . . . . .

Butter Truffle from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co HAD ME at first sniff! It smells like cookies, or cake, or coffee cake, or something cakey and bakey…darn it…now I want something dessert-like. Since I don’t eat those often (or close to {n}ever) I will sip on Butter Truffle from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co, instead.

This flavored black tea is INCREDIBLY aromatic! It’s savory and spicy, too! The orange is juicy and I welcome it. The spices are done nicely and NOT overly done. The pistachios are what make it ‘buttery’ and even smooths out the end of the sip to finish a little creamy. Sure – this has nuts in it – but it doesn’t have dairy in it and for that I am grateful!

I don’t eat baked goods hardly ever because of the dairy and eggs in them and I am NOT a baker myself so when I crave something like that I tend to reach for a flavored tea that would fit the bill instead. Butter Truffle from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co is one of those teas! YUM!

Nichole and I try and share everything with our other sisters here at Sororitea Sisters and Butter Truffle from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co will be one of those teas that will be hard to pry from my hands! I will pass this one along – of course – but with a tear in my eye as I say goodbye!
