Dark Coconut/Love Some Tea. . .

Coconut is one of those flavors that can be really good or really bad. Sometimes it can be creamy and delicious and sometimes it can taste like lotion. That is why I occasionally put off trying coconut teas even though I am a coconut fan. I am especially hesitant when I never tried a tea from a company before and don’t know what to expect. That is why this Dark Coconut tea by Love Some Tea has been hanging out in my cupboard for over a year despite the bright and colorful packaging consistently catching my eye.

Drinking this tea hot I am happy to report this falls into the really good coconut category. The coconut flavor is fresh and creamy. Deliciously true to tasty coconut with pastry/bread notes from the black tea base. The flavors together create a coconut macaroon tea. It’s smooth and it’s rich and I am pleasantly surprised.

This tea has definitely peaked my interest in Love Some Tea as this is one of the better coconut teas I have come across which is even more surprising given the age of this tea. Usually there tends to be flavor deterioration over time and this shows no sign of any flavor lacking. Just one great coconut tea.

Green Rainbow from Love Some Tea. . . . .

Being summer time in the Midwest, cold brew tea is where it’s at.  I love drinking cold brew all day at work.  All I do is take my favorite water bottle, set it up the night before with a few scoops of tea, allow the tea to brew and viola, the next morning I have wonderful fresh cold brew tea to enjoy during the day.  The other day, I thought I’d try this dandy from Love Some Tea as my daily cold brew.

Green Rainbow is a flavored passion fruit green tea that gives so much loving.  When you first open the bag, you are greeted with a gorgeous fruity aroma that demands attention and cries to be cold brewed with loving care.

Cold brewed, this tea is the perfect answer to a hot summer day.  With a green tea base that is light, refreshing, but full of flavor mingled gracefully with the passion fruit flavor, each sip becomes more satisfying than the last.

What really kept me drinking this tea all afternoon was the tangy almost sherbet like flavors this tea yielded.  I was able to keep drinking this tea all day by just continuously adding water and ice to my water bottle.

For my first experience with Love Some Tea, I’m quite pleased with how this tea turned out as a cold brew.  Not sure how I would like this tropical sherbet like tea hot brewed, but it doesn’t matter.  This is one tea that may just become a staple in my tea stash during the summertime to enjoy on days when I need a cold brewed treat.
