Slimming Tea from Cha Tale

This review is all about the Slimming Tea from Cha Tale which will be from the FLAVOR stand point only and NOT any actual slimming results, claims, etc. The reason I decided to review Slimming Tea from Cha Tale is because of the ingredients they used, the look of the dry contents prior to steeping, and the flavor after I infused them.

Slimming Tea from Cha Tale contains Chrysanthemum, Corn Silk, Dried Orange Peel, smoked plum according to the product description but I also see other ingredients including rock sugar, dried apples and/or Jujube, and I THINK Cassia Seed because I know Cha Tale uses Cassia Seed in their Detox Tea and it looks similar. The ingredients are HUGE and they seemed to infuse perfectly! All of the dried ingredients re-hydrated amazingly plump!

Now for the taste of Slimming Tea from Cha Tale…

I infused this using my Grosche Infuser. The 1st infusion at 5 minutes revealed a sugary, fruity, sweet flavor in my mouth and a aroma of a corn field in my nose! I felt like I was sitting in the middle of a corn field sniffing the fresh corn on the cob and the corn silk that comes along with it! There was an aroma of hay, too!

After another 5 minutes I sampled another small cup of the same infusion. The flavor was multiplied! Slimming Tea from Cha Tale – after 10 minutes infusing – was POPPING with flavor! I could taste tart and plump plum, citrus, apple, grain, and a pleasant sourness to it. Maybe what I thought was Jujube was actually dried cherries?? Not sure…but I LIKE IT!

After another 5 minutes which was the end of the infusion liquor in my infuser device of this Slimming Tea from Cha Tale I noticed the color of the infused tisane to be one of the most vibrant, golden colors I have seen in a long time! With this sip I could taste sweet and creamy notes along with berry and orange. Believe it or not I could pick up on the Corn Silk, too!

Slimming Tea from Cha Tale was an overly memorable tisane and I hardly – if ever – say that about an herbal! After looking at what was left in my infuser I noticed at least 1 – if not 3 – sliced dried (and re-hydrated) strawberries in the blend. I guess one could say I was completely fascinated by this herbal! And the taste was YUMMY, too! WOW! Something to remember that is for sure!

  1. I hope that you write a follow-up in a few months about whether it slimmed you down.

Just kidding. Those claims actually infuriate me. I kind of wish the FDA would step in (like they do with actual foods and drugs, but not teas/supplements) and shut that down. Consumers don’t deserve to be conned by stuff like that.

Or maybe the tea actually IS slimming, in which case that’d be super-nice to have a double-blind test FINALLY giving me the antidote to eating cheesecake and not exercising much.
