Xian Luo Black Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co.. . . .

I have a confession. At first sniff I was LOST in this Xian Luo Black Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea and Coffee Co. The natural aroma was so fragrant, a little spicy, and a little malty. The trio of smells made it an unforgettable smelling tea!

The taste of Xian Luo Black Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea and Coffee Co. was just as impressive! Xian Luo Black Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea and Coffee Co. is a medium strength black tea that was fairly malty in the mouth. The malt was on the sweeter side and NOT astringent or brash. It took me a while but I finally figured out the mysterious nod I kept picking up on and it was subtle chocolate notes but it was a very zoned-in type of chocolaty taste I was tasting. My taste-buds say it was more of a cocoa powder type chocolate taste and on the sweeter side.

Xian Luo Black Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea and Coffee Co. was capable of at least 2 solid infusions. I LOVE that in a black tea since it’s somewhat rare. This tea also finishes pretty smooth and it’s lovely. Another thing I noticed was this Xian Luo Black Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea and Coffee Co.’s natural malty flavor seemed to magnify as it cools naturally at room temperature.

As if you could already tell I’m a HUGE fan of Xian Luo Black Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea and Coffee Co.

Santa Berry Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co.

Now THIS is a fruit flavored black tea I can get behind! Oh! Maybe that is because it doesn’t have hibiscus in it! Santa Berry Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co, that is!

Santa Berry Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co smells like fruity candy straight out of the bag! I think it is the fruity combo of orange, cranberry, strawberry, and raspberry. It’s truly a delight!

Once infused the cranberry is the more intense of the fruit to awaken the nose and tongue! The cardamom provides a hint of spice which is nice. The strawberry and raspberry seem to fuse together and that glorious orange peel MUST be from that same orange the company uses in their Orange Cookie Black Tea that I am a bit obsessed with lately! Santa Berry Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co is really something special! Of course, I am partial because it doesn’t contain hibiscus! That in itself deserves two thumbs up! But I’m genuinely stoked about the flavor of this tea! It’s great!

Garden of England Afternoon Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co is worldly, aromatic, and tasty!

Garden of England Afternoon Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co is fruity, floral, and earthy. There are hints in both taste and smell of Black Currants. The aftertaste is more floral than the front of the sip and it lingers nicely. This also stands up to a 2nd infusion well. The black and green tea ratios work hand in hand with each other and neither is too overpowering. Nor is the flavorings overpowering the blended black and green tea base. Tempting and tasty – Garden of England Afternoon Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co – is a goody!

Orange Cookies Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co

Orange Cookies Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co. you are one of my new favorite flavored black teas!

My first impressions of Orange Cookies Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co. was the potent spices! It wasn’t QUITE Chai spices but on the verge. I think it was missing a few traditional chai flavors to actually consider it to be a chai. More importantly I was completely blown away but the luscious, juicy, tangy orange in Orange Cookies Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co., too! The orange was the most honest and REAL tasting orange I have sipped on in a long time!

Orange Cookies Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co. also featured black tea, apple, cinnamon, coriander, cardamom, cloves, and pink pepper. The spices that were used were excellent and fitting for the name of the tea. Much like a holiday cookie – that is for sure! The apple wasn’t prominent but I could taste where it played a part. I wouldn’t change ANYTHING about this tea. Orange Cookies Tea from Kent & Sussex Tea & Coffee Co. was absolutely YUMMY!
