Taster’s Review:

I have always been a fan of Simpson & Vail. Their customer service is top notch and their teas are fresh and delicious.   A great company to pick up a few blends from for sure!

This particular tea sounded amazing from the description and I couldn’t wait to try it. I brewed it up per the instructions above and couldn’t wait to try this tea.

I will admit, I had to allow this tea to cool but I think that just deepened the flavors.  I will admit the flavors of this tea remind me of a black tea.  There are definite similar notes with a slight maltiness but in that maltiness is a sweet yet floral flavor that sings. A crisp white flavor that really hits that note that gives you that warming feeling inside.  Really lovely and one that you could sip on each and every day and not get tired of it.

This tea gives you the best of all worlds.  The richness notes that give black tea that umph with a delicate side as well.  This may be my new to go tea in the morning! I could see this being pretty fabulous for my commute into the office.

Taster’s Review:

I love Verdant Tea.  I don’t know of anybody who doesn’t. Their love, passion, attention to detail, and most importantly, their tea is just simply amazing. Tea that you can steep again and again and enjoy for an afternoon. I have tried several of their teas and have loved the flavors of each one.

And this one is no exception! This Spring Harvest Laoshan White (which I’m not finding on their site) is a gorgeous white tea that has resounding notes of a green tea mingled within each glorious sip.  Brewed up like a white tea, I allowed the tea to steep for about 4 minutes.  Took my first sip and just took a moment to enjoy.

This tea has a gorgeous vegetal feel with notes of a floral touch here and there. Simple but so wonderful.  Each infusion brought me a slightly different profile but for the most part, this tea really has a nice solid vegetal feel sweetened by  a glorious floral note.

Another really well done tea from Verdant Tea! If you haven’t tried Verdant Tea, I highly recommend you do! They have a great starter pack for only $5. A great deal!

Taster’s Review:

I love joining swap boxes because you never know what you will end up when the traveling box hits your doorstep.  I recently had a very large box arrive with amazing teas for me to try and check out.  This sample was the first one I grabbed and had to try out right away.  I’ve heard good things about Octavia Teas but never had the chance to check them out.

White teas and I have been really good friends as of late.  There is just something soul soothing about the sweet floral notes they can produce.  With the wedding plans and the big day only a couple weeks away, I needed a bit of a cozy soothing tea.  So I turned to this beauty.

Acai Berry White is described as being a sweet and fruity tea.  That is exactly how it smells.  Brewed this up as a white tea with my Breville One Touch and sat down to enjoy.

First sip in and I am greeted with this simple yet lovely berry floral taste that made me happy.  This white tea really hit the spot and made me want to snuggle into a blanket and find a fun book to read.  What a lovely tea!

The berry notes are very prominent with a backboard of floral hitting you as well, but a softer more gentler feel.  This tea would be fantastic for a tea party with all of the fun flavors.  Seriously lovely. But do be warned, I did allow this tea to steep to long and before I knew it the tea reminded me of a tutti frutti gum or a kids’ toothpaste.  This one isn’t as forgiving when it comes to oversteeping.  Just pay attention to it and you’ll have some delicious tea on your hands!

Taster’s Review:

I have been on a mad white tea kick as of late.  Even with all of these fall flavors going on, I feel like in the mornings I’m still gravitating towards a floral or white tea to get me thru my last parts of deadline at work each day.

Today, I saw this little guy hanging out by my bag and knew that today was my day to try this one.  I was a bit excited.  Brewed this up at work with the help of my Sei Sei Tumbler to take care of the brewing part.  Added in water around 190 per the packaging instructions and let this tea steep for about 3 minutes or so.

I loved watching this one steep.  The dry leaf mix was gorgeous with all the lovely long leafs with pops of a bright orange color.

First infusion in and this tea is delicate and lovely.  One that takes you away and allows you to indulge for a moment before the phone starts ringing again and there are emails to read.  This tea gives you that much needed blissful moment where you can wrap your hands around the mug and the the tea do its thing.

The white tea flavor is the first to wash over you and it is delicate with subtle notes of a floral kind.  The grapefruit flavors are there but they really don’t become prominent until that last part of each sip.  That last part of the sip is where all the tangy grapefruit lovin is. Wow.

Another impressive tea from The Jasmine Pearl.  I’m really digging this one and heading now to the kitchen to prep up more water for my second infusion.  This tea is a keeper!

Tasters Review:

I’ve said it before and I will say it again (and again)…I’m VERY impressed with The Persimmon Tree Tea Company’s Selection and quality of flavors/products!

The dry aroma of their Amore Tea is mostly minty but also has a stronger Rose Aroma as a secondary scent.  The post infusion aroma is mostly Rose but a nice refreshing Mint Scent, too.

The color is a light brown with a little gray.  The taste is very nice, pretty, and pleasant!

The Rose and Mint are about 50/50 equal in flavor…this in itself amazes me! The white tea is noticeable as well.  This is a great uplifting and refreshing aftertaste!  I really like this!  Another winner from Persimmon Tree Tea Company!
