Coconut Green Tea from LST. . . . .

I love green tea, and I love coconut so I was pretty excited to try this tea. It was better than I could have hoped.

It’s a smooth green tea with a very slight smoky flavor, and an amazing coconut aroma and flavor. I could drink this delicious tea all day. It’s clean, and decadent. It has that kind of fatty coconut flavor, and I mean that in the best way. The coconut kind of cuts the earthiness of the green tea. I had mine warm and it was a wonderful way to wake up. I have a feeling this would be amazing iced as well. This tea is perfect for anyone who enjoys slightly smoky flavors with a nice dose of coconut flavor.

But don’t expect the overly sweet coconut flavor you get from artificially flavored coconut beverages. This is the real deal, real coconut flavor that is not cloyingly sweet at all. I bet this would also make a fantastic green tea latte with coconut milk, iced or hot!

I had never heard of LST tea before, but after trying this delicious tea I hope to try many more flavors. They are an ethical and sustainable tea company which in my opinion makes the tea taste even better!

Peppermint Leaves from Steven Smith Teamaker. . . .

I really love mint tea. Especially in the morning . Mint awakens my senses and makes me feel alive and awake with no caffeine.

This morning I tried this Steven Smith Teamaker peppermint tea and wow I am not disappointed at all.

It’s crisp, and smooth minty! It has a really deep mint flavor, it really sticks with you. I feel relaxed and energized. It’s definitely a tea to savor and enjoy. I’m having mine warm because it’s a blissfully cool morning, but I am imagining this as a super crisp, super refreshing iced tea on a hot day. Either way this is one of the best if not the best mint teas I’ve had.

This is absolutely the perfect tea for this beautiful Saturday morning. The birds are singing, it’s quiet and peaceful and all is right in the world. If you like mint tea, this is the tea for you. I’m so happy that I was introduced to this delicious, refreshing tea. And of course this is caffeine free so it’s safe to drink at any of the day.

This would be a great after lunch pick me up at work, or if you need a breath freshener after lunch. And peppermint tea helps with digestion, so it’s perfect after any meal!

Ginseng Matcha Green from Pukka. . . . .

I’m a big fan of Pukka teas, and recently I was sent a care package from the UK and some Pukka tea bags were included.

I recently tried the ginseng matcha green tea and was not disappointed. It has a very bright, citrus-y flavor that I really enjoyed. It was very refreshing, and seemed like a perfect fit for an early spring morning. This tea is made with sencha green tea, lemongrass, ginger and licorice root, red ginseng, matcha powder and lemon Vana tulsi leaf. Lemongrass is one of my absolute favorite flavors, and it really shined in this delicious tea.

In addition to the wonderful flavor, I felt very energized after drinking it. It was more than just the caffeine from the green tea. It was like my senses were awakened from the citrus, and probably the ginseng too.

Years ago I took ginseng supplements for awhile, and I remember feeling a definite pep in my step. I also remember they seemed to lift my mood as well. I was living in Seattle at the time, and having a hard time dealing with all the rain.

This tea is definitely one of my favorites. It’s smooth and light and although I had mine warm, I imagine it would make an out of this world ice tea. It would be a very refreshing beverage to have on a warm, muggy summer day. If you haven’t tried Pukka teas, I can’t recommend them enough. This is the fourth or fifth flavor I’ve tried, and I love them all so much!

Raspberry Matcha from Tea’s Me. . . . . .

I love Matcha tea. I love the vibrant green color, I love the grassy green flavor and I especially love the health benefits. I also love raspberries. They are in my top three favorite fruits.

So I was very excited to try raspberry matcha tea. I made a pitcher of this over ice because the weather is warm and I like my fruit teas served cold.

First of all, as soon as I opened the package I smelled a strong raspberry smell which made me very happy. And mixing this was a breeze, no clumping issues at all. Now on to the taste.

This is a perfect matcha tea for someone who wants the benefits of matcha but doesn’t like the flavor. I’ve heard that from a lot of people. This has a delightful, crisp raspberry flavor. It tastes like real raspberries, not raspberry flavor. It’s sweet and slightly tart just like the berries.

It’s absolutely delicious and a perfect summertime drink. I would make a big pitcher for a picnic and put lots of fresh raspberries in the add color and flavor and fanciness.

This tea is full of antioxidants, and it’s vegan and gluten free. It’s so nice to have a beverage that is delicious and very very good for you. It does have caffeine in it, although of course much less than coffee or black tea. This is definitely going to be a staple in my life this summer!
