Fireside Blend from Compass Teas is Intensely flavored! It reminds me of walking into a Folk-Artsy-type/Home Decor type store with woodsy, cinnamony, old-time-country flowers, spices from wall-to-wall, or a festive/Holiday Booth at a craft fair…I think you got the picture I was trying to make for you!
It infuses fast and dark. The woodsy, cinnamon, floral smells are more in front after infusion.
The Black Tea is the more intense flavor when tasting which I LOVE. I’m so happy this is flavored the way it is and not overly so.
This is quite delicious. I wouldn’t normally be attracted to a tea like this but am so glad I gave it a whirl. Just goes to show you you should judge a tea based on what you THINK it’s going o be like! Everyone once and a while you get one that surprises you! This is just another tasty offering from Compass!

The first time I had this tea the dry leaf mixture smelled JUST LIKE York Peppermint Patties! Post Infusion it smelled like Black Tea, Peppermint, Cream. I remembered this ‘brewed up’ quick and dark! It tasted like black tea, mint, and vanilla. I remember saying that I LOVED the out-of the-bag aroma better than the actual taste of the tea…but the more I sipped the more I enjoyed it!
The 2nd time I sampled this I found it to be much more memorable! Much more minty and creamy, too! I really like this! I mean really like this! Many of you know my love for minty things!
I still think this smells like a Peppermint Patty but I love the fact that I can taste the Black Tea, The Mint, The Creaminess…all in one! This is very aromatic, very bold, very flavorful, and very tasty.
I think I will have another cup today and many more days to come!

Cherry Bomb Tea from Compass Teas smells great before, during, and after infusion…just like Cherry Candy or Juice, even! This is really good if you like Cherry and I do…so ROCK ON! Speaking of ROCKIN’ – I could resist adding a song/video to this post so don’t don’t forget to scroll down.
The Hibiscus is barely there and thank the tea gods for that – as many of you know my feelings about Hibiscus! It seems to be more there to just open doors for the rest of the ingredients and isn’t the leader of the pack! Eventho this is VERY Cherry tasting – you can still taste the GREEN TEA.

Earl…you are one SMOOTH dude! Has anyone ever told you that? Well, I’ll say it right here and right now…you ARE smooth and live up to your name!
This is a very creamy/vanilla-scented Earl Grey. I always look for twists on earl greys because I like to see how different they can be but still be classified as an earl grey. I know there are some people out there that stand by the phrase “Leave My Earl Alone” but not me…I love the variety, love the creativeness, and love the uniqueness!
The aroma is delightful! I can smell the Black tea, bergamot, creame, vanilla – in that order!
The taste is VERY creamy! The cream and vanilla both tone down the bergamot and I really like this. I have had a lot of Earl Grey’s that overdue it with the bergamot or use a really funky bergamot flavoring and it tends to be bitter or leave a strange or bitter or even chemical aftertaste. Not this one! This is pretty darn good right here! VERY smooth…darn near the smoothest tea I have ever had. Some may say the bergamot isn’t strong enough – if you are ‘the more the merrier’ type – but I really like the way this one plays out!
If Smooth Earl isn’t the talk of the town in your neck of the woods – it should be – spread the word!

What DOESN’T this blend have? Just Peachy from Compass Teas is a mix of black, white, oolong, yerba mate, peach flavoring, and flowers! Normally that would make me nervous…but whatever mathematician came up with the percentages for this combo is pure genius! EVERYTHING makes sense in this blend. All of the ingredients jive nicely and smell/taste yummy together! It’s truly peachy but it’s more than that and with all of the different teas – black, oolong, white, and Yerba Mate it’s LOADED with health benefits!
This tea was a nice surprise and another awesome mix of flavors from Compass Teas! And there’s LOTS more where this came from!
