Taster’s Review:

I have loved New Mexico Tea Company for some time. Their teas are fresh and vibrant. The packaging is fantastic and the art work on their packages is phenomenal. Everything about them is just brilliant and I have recommended them to so many tea drinkers, newbies and tea enthusiasts alike. They have a tea blend for everyone.

This tea I picked up some time ago, I think from a Steepster Stash Sale. I am always on the look out for new green teas to check out and just hadn’t had a chance to try this one until now. When I first opened the bag, I was in awe of the gorgeous longer leaves that filled the pouch.  I scooped a few spoonfuls into my tea pot and poured in the prepped water. I loved watching the tea leaves dance in the water.

First sip in and shame on me for not trying this tea sooner.  This tea is one of those green teas that give you everything.  Slightly floral with subtle vegetal notes and a buttery finish.  Just delicious. One of those teas that you crave more of and hate to see your tea pot empty. I’ve already drank a few infusions out of this first serving and I have to say each infusion delivers that same gorgeous flavor.  This is one of those satisfying teas that delivers on the flavor it promises.  This one is a keeper!

Taster’s Review:

Alright, I’m going to say it. . I think this is my favorite cold brew green tea.  This tea is that good.

First off, I love Tealated’s customer experience and how the owner is always available to answer your questions.  She is wonderful! And her teas are amazing! I haven’t had one I don’t like yet.

This one maybe the favorite.  Brewed up with cold water and ice and allowed to sit for about an hour, this tea is refreshing with a side of tartness.  The green tea is rich and buttery.  The raspberries really provide a sweet tartness that says fresh.  The pomegranate is more in the background providing more subtle tartness that is evident in just about every other sip.  You can’t ask for a cleaner flavored tea.  There is just the right amount of flavors vs tea.

Green Delight is a tea that never lets me down.  Each time I’ve cold brewed this tea, I am greeted with this amazing iced green tea.  Do yourself a favor and check out this tea.  You won’t regret it.

Comfort from the hearth while gazing at fog as it gently drifts over the sea. The odor of warm buttery country bread rises to your nose, tenderly warming your face. A faint note of macadamia and bits of crust browning on a brick oven floor linger on the tongue. Hints of sweet grasses spring forth to brighten and balance the thick, chewy texture. Come in from the cold.

Taster’s Review:

I have heard so much about this company on Steepster that I was very excited to see it in one of the traveling tea boxes that hit my house late last week.  This was the first one I grabbed to try.  I’m such a green tea fan that I couldn’t wait to dig in and try out some new green teas.

August Uncommon Tea has unique tea blends that I’ve heard varied reviews about.  This particular blend is a Japanese Green Tea with Barley in it.  I brewed this delight up like all my green teas with the help of my handy dandy Breville and allowed the brew to cool off for a few moments.

Took my first sip and this is a different tasting green tea for sure.  And one I’m enjoying. The green tea base is buttery and smooth.  The barley that has been added in provides a nice nutty background that gives the tea an added richness.  Like the description says, there is a crust like flavor and even faint notes of macadamia nuts.

This is one of those teas where the description really matches and translate well into the flavor you are given.  I’m curious what this one would taste like as a cold brew and hope to be able to try that soon.

The more I drink of this one, the more I really like it.  This could easily be an every day sort of tea for me for sure!

Taster’s Review:

Thanks to an amazing Steepster tea pal, I was able to try this one and I’m so glad I was. I have been impressed by the teas I’ve had from Nepali Tea Traders and I am looking forward to trying more.

This tea is a delicious green tea.  Vibrant with a gorgeous color.  There is a distinct vegetal profile but there are also hidden notes of sweetness that appear in every other sip or so.

What I think I love the most are the smooth rich velvet rich mouthfeel (just like the description of the tea) you get with every sip.  The tea coats your mouth giving off such a warm and fuzzy feeling.  This is one of those teas you drink while you are cuddled with your favorite book and blanket on a rainy day.

This is a tea that I can’t wait to share with the twins.  They have been really getting into tea lately!

Taster’s Review:

I am exhausted right now so I wanted a tea that was both refreshing and invigorating.  I thought maybe a mint tea would do the job so I grabbed for a tea from a company I didn’t know about until recently.

Blackbird Tea Co has a presence both on Etsy and with their own website.  They have a gorgeous website.  Simple but beautiful.  I love how the pictures of the tea are not over done and they let their sleep package do the talking.  I was sold from the moment I saw their slick canisters.

Since this is a green tea, I just used the water for our coffee machine here at work and popped the tea into the water. As I sat waiting for the tea to steep, I enjoyed the delicious mint aroma I could smell.  I felt that bit of pep that I was looking for.

Let this steep for about 3 minutes and took my first sip.  This tea delivered on the taste I was looking for.  Brisk green tea with a soothing refreshing mint that really invigorates your senses.  Green tea with mint is a pretty simple tea but it has to be done right.  Sometimes the mint can really overwhelm the tea or go the opposite way and be hardly noticeable.  That is not the case with this blend. The peppermint and spearmint play nicely together in my cuppa and the green tea provides that smooth delicate feel with hints of a roasted flavor in every other sip or so.  Very nicely done.

This tea gave me exactly what I need today.  Just a bit of pep with a gorgeous mint background.  I’m excited to try this as a mint iced tea.  I’m thinking this would be a marvelous prepared that way.  I do have a favorite Marrakech Mint from Tealated that I adore but this one is right there along with that blend.  All the different aspects are just so fantastically present and not one flavor controls the flavor.  I hope all the Blackbird Tea Co teas are this fantastic!
