Taster’s Review:

If you’re familiar with me as a tea drinker at all by now, you must be aware of my love for Earl Grey teas.  This one is a stellar variety of Earl Grey.

The black tea base is very smooth and does not disrupt the bergamot flavor – rather, it melds seamlessly with it, creating a unified flavor of tea and fruit.

That is to say – the flavor here is very smooth!  Perhaps the smoothest I’ve tasted yet from an Earl Grey tea.  There is very little astringency (almost NO astringency!) and absolutely no bitterness to this tea.  It’s fantastic!

The bergamot is a citrus-y bergamot.  Yes, yes, I know, bergamot is an orange, so therefore, to say it is a citrus-y bergamot seems a bit redundant.  But, hear me out:  many bergamot flavors possess a somewhat pungent, floral flavor that can range in taste from very delicate to sharp to downright perfume-y.

This bergamot flavor does have a floral note, but it is extaordinarily delicate.  It is sweet.  It does not overwhelm the palate nor does it make my tongue feel as though it’s been coated with perfume.  It’s pleasant and delicious.

For those who find Earl Grey to be too pungent, this is the Earl Grey for you!  It is uncommonly smooth and rich in flavor, a truly exceptional Earl Grey tea, this Soho Earl!

Taster’s Note:  At the time I wrote this review, I couldn’t find this tea anywhere on the Talbott Teas website, but perhaps it will be added by the time it is published.

Tasters Review:

This is the darkest infused green I have ever seen! I think it’s because of all the darker fruits in the blend…notably the blueberries! I can clearly see all of the ingredients and they are fresh, plump, and lovely!  The Post infused liquid color is truly unique and memorable!

Green Tea Heaven from Talbott Teas smells…well…HEAVENLY! The naturally sweet, juicy, and fruity taste PROVES to me that a fruit flavored tea can be done DAMN well without having to throw in Hibiscus to make it juicy and fruity! This is a Hibiscus-Free Zone and it’s awesome!

This is AWESOME hot and just as AWESOME if not a tad more so iced.  I currently have this rated at a 98 in my personal tea-log file but am highly considering changing it to a 100!  I LOVE THIS flavored green!

Tasters Review:

Caramel.  Let’s have a little chat about it, shall we!?  I like caramel but I wouldn’t call myself a caramel Fanatic, you know!?  BUT I have found that I am REALLY liking more and more teas with Caramel IN them!  The Caramel is TOP NOTCH! It’s incredibly sweet and smooth and sugary!  I think it really contributes to the overall dessert flavor of this tea!  The vanilla is slight but also helps with the creaminess. The chocolate is yummy, semi-sweet, and is perfect with the other flavors in this tea!

I really LOVE this one!  Another winner from Talbott Teas!  They are quickly becoming one of my favorite overall Tea Companies!
