Frogula Fruit Blend/ Stylin’ Tea Blends

Eventhough, Frogula Fruit Blend from Stylin’ Tea Blends, is no longer listed on their site I thought it was still worth a mention because it made a mighty fine iced tea!

The ingredients of this rooibos and honeybush blended base also contained apple pieces, raisins, candied papaya, carrot, beetroot, pumpkin pieces, cardamom, cinnamon, close, rose petals, nutmeg, and vanilla bits.

The honeybush and rooibos played nicely together and made it to you couldn’t really tell that one was overpowering the other. This leads me to believe that if the ratio wasn’t 50/50 it may have been pretty close.

The spices were mellow. Just a hint or spec of each. This also worked well. The fruit is what shined here! The two fruits that were more prominent were the apple and candied papaya. I found that I really liked this flavor duo.

The vanilla bits, rose, pumpkin, and beetroot hung out in the background and seemed to contribute to the aftertaste more than the first taste.

All-in-all I enjoyed this one. Iced Tea – for me – was key!

YUM! Can I just start off by saying…YUM!? Well, there! I ‘done..did it’! Sour Apple Green from Stylin’ Tea Blends is MORE than brilliantly done! It’s a MUST on my flavored green teas of the moment list! Here’s why…

Sour Apple Green from Stylin’ Tea Blends – as you can guess – is a sour apple flavored green tea! It’s made up of Green Tea, Apple Pieces, Lemon Pieces, Safflower Petals, and Sunflower Petals. It’s gorgeously colorful to look at dry and smells wonderful. The aroma gets even stronger and juicier once infused!

Yummy, juicy, sweet apple paired with citrus, tart, and puckery lemon do a nice tie-in with the medium-strength yet sweeter tasting green tea base. The floral ingredients I assumed were more for show actually did contribute a bit of floral flavor that was noticeable on the end sip and after taste.

I’m not going to hide it – I absolutely LOVE this tea! You can’t go wrong with a hot or a cold cup of Sour Apple Green from Stylin’ Tea Blends. But here’s another way to enjoy it…Sour Apple Green Vodka!

Sour Apple Green Vodka Recipe

INGREDIENTS: 7 tsp Sour Apple Green tea leaves; 1 750-ml bottle Vodka

Tomato Tornado from Stylin’ Blends. . . . .

Tomatoes? Yes, please! I have to say that was the REAL reason I was so stoked about trying this tea/tisane. The tisane I am referring to is Tomato Tornado from Stylin’ Blends. Ingredients include Tomato, Ginger, Beet pieces, Hibiscus, Cardamom, Black Pepper, White Pepper, Cinnamon, Clove, and Nutmeg.

Stylin’ Blends product description says…Yes the first ingredient is tomato. When we were told there was a blend that had tomato and ginger as well as spices we use in our chai blends, we were really intrigued. The name of this unique blend came from my mother who was in Kansas at the time. Since this is an herbal blend there is no caffeine!

Tomato, Beet, and Hibiscus are the flavors you taste first quickly followed by the chai spices. Each of these ingredients are on the more mellow side but when they are all together they work out incredibly well. There are nods to a tomato soup type flavor as well as those chai spices.

Tomato Tornado is not only a conversational tisanes it’s one the is good tasting and good for you! I really enjoy this tisane. I will say that I could taste the ginger more as it cooled naturally at room temperature and if you cold brew it. Two thumbs up from me on this one! Nicely done, Stylin’ Blends!
